Hi lovelies! It was a beautiful spring day here in the Northeast. A sunny 75+ degree day...a day of me dashing from flowering tree to flowering tree, and from flower bed to flower bed. Nowhere was out of bounds - on the sides of roads, in parking lots, fields, a couple of yards..maybe.. I've been tracking down materials for Liv's Leaves like a madwoman!
I'm working on my next collection and I want it to really showcase the summer theme of Liv's Leaves: celebrating nature! I will do that by incorporating more natural materials into my products - so expect to see beautiful flowers, leaves, and natural stones like Montana Agates, amethyst, etc. I want my creations to include pieces of nature because I LOVE nature. And I'm really excited with how my experimenting has been going - so excited to share with you all. 😁😁😁🌸🌿🌲🌱🌺🌷
So..this spring, as flowers and trees are blooming, just know that I'm out there, on the hunt! After collecting flora 🌹🌷💐🍃🍂🍁🌾, I bundle my treasure home, to a dark, cobweb covered basement. 🕷 And I shut them into giant cook books, 📚 never to see the light of day AGAINNN. 👹👹 Not really - after a couple of weeks of drying and pressing in the books, they come out and get made into earrings, and beautiful people will wear them to fabulous parties so I guess that's a more fantastical life than most flowers right? 😸😸
NEW NAMES
Some of you may have noticed that not long after the website was launched, I changed the names of my products. I was going back and forth between what to name them...how do people name kids! So stressful. This kind of pressure is enough to make anyone crack. A lovely friend (THANKS🧞♀️) suggested I name my products after the women in my life. And it made so much sense!!! I have so many beautiful, intelligent, strong, badass ladies in my life, there would be NO shortage to the amount of products I can create 😂☺️ Here are some of the lovely ladies in my life that have been matched with one of my earring styles:

NEW PRODUCTS
So - new stuff to go inside my products, new names, and of course, we are expanding with some new products! One - check the pictures - is the multi-use Alyssa Dish. Sure, it may technically be an ashtray, but, Liv's Leaves does not condone the consumption of tobacco. 😉 Besides, the dish is so darn cute it would be tragic to limit it to a life of butts. 😂 I use mine for candles, and as a ring dish. It could also be a place to put your cannabis, a planter for your hipster air plant, a soap dish, stash your condom collection, or organize some miniature crap..I know you or a woman in your life has some kind of collection of mini things. We all do. 🤗
Each Alyssa Dish is handmade and a one-of-a-kind original. They feature media such as shells, stickers, ribbons, flowers, glitter, and much more to come! They will be officially released this upcoming Monday, May 14th. (EDIT: I got around to releasing them on Wednesday, May 16th. :))
IN-PERSON SELLING
I will be vending at the Eureka, Montana Farmer's Market this July and August, and also hoping for a spot at the Whitefish, Montana Farmer's Market. If anyone knows someone who knows someone who can get me into that market, I'd like to know 😸😸 Very excited to design my booth and display! I've been pinteresting like crazy. And I’m excited to meet some customers in real life!
